OOYEAH

Firstly, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my father who has one more year to go before he reaches his fifties. Hang in there, pops.

Birthdays at my house are usually quite pathetic. There's one person cutting the cake, one person taking the photo and there's only one more person to cheer on as the birthday dude cuts the cake. That's life of a family of three people. But I can't complain though. I had discussed this with Shuyin, who is also from a family of three, and we both agree that it's indeed a little lousy when our families go out for dinners. It's like, we don't even fill out two tables. It might as well be a date between two people and a third wheel strolling along with them (most of the time, this third wheel comes in the form of ME).

But still, there are obviously pros and cons to having a small family. People ask me whether I get bored or whether I feel lonely. Truth is, I've grown up as a pretty lonely kid for the most part of my life. Sailing with my parents for the first 7 years of my life got me used to the idea of having zero friends. Friends starting coming in when I was about 10 (?) and I soon learn to forget the meaning of the word "lonely". While it gets quiet at home, I appreciate it. In fact, I love it :)

Anyway, I don't know why the sudden post about being in a small family. The thing is, I promised that I'll blog before I leave Singapore for a short little trip. So here I am. Meanwhile, here's what Heeqmah got me from her London trip,

Well, some of what she got me ;)

Anyway, I hope tomorrow's trip would be a good one because I really need to get out of this stupid country who clearly does not want me (boohoo). Ok who am I kidding, with Rachael by my side, it's going to be a blast! Provided that woman comes and see me there, sekali she's flying to Singapore tomorrow or something -_-

Goodbye, Sg!
