KAMPUNG
So I went for a family chalet at Changi and I was honestly so shocked to discover how big it was! I mean, I've been to chalets and they're usually those cramped, one-bedroom (two bedrooms TOPS) at Pasir Ris or East Coast but I was simply amazed at the Fairy Point Chalet that Jaja got for us.

We had our very own gate too! However, it sucked because at 2am, a group of drunk bastards came and caused some trouble at our chalet. They thought that my uncle stole their beer (HAHAHA WTF). It was so dramatic! It was, my uncle and his son against this group of drunkard assholes and thank god my uncle had the balls to bring out a knife. Obviously, when they saw the knife some of them started apologising and getting the fuck out of our chalet. Honestly, I do not see the point of drinking if you can't hold it. Even if you can, I still do not see it. Wanna act all so mature and drink, in the end see one pathetic knife and you guys start shitting in your pants. Lousy.
Anyway, the infamous entrance where the fight started and ended within 2 minutes:

The second floor!

Our second-floor balcony with this view:

One thing I cannot tank about chalets is how FRIGGIN NASTY THEIR TOILETS ARE. Even if you pay $10 for one night or $1000, the toilets will forever be dirty. And we had like three toilets. NOT ONE SINGLE SHIT WAS CLEAN OMYGOD. Speaking of shit, one of my uncles managed to clog to toilet with his shit so we were down to two by the second night. #TMI

Dad setting the barbecue in his office attire.

My camera pouch which I got from Phuket for 100Baht. I honestly think I paid too much for it but Phuket's shopping is just too good to miss! I wanna go Phuket again so badlyyyyy

Tasha's phone which was dropped and obviously is cracked.

MUMMY

At the end of the first night, we sat down to watch a 1980s tape recording of the older generation having their chalet (at Changi, THE EXACT SAME SPOT THAT WE WERE HAVING!) when they were younger. It was so cool, I saw my mum playing Rounders, I saw my cousins in diapers, I saw my grandaunts in their long gowns taking care of their babies, I saw how everybody dressed in the 80s (it was seriously, not pretty). It was nice, kinda like watching an old drama but the cast is being replaced by your loved ones. I wanted to record our chalet so that in 30 years' time, we would all gather together and watch the video, just like what we're doing. But nyeh, too much effort.

Didn't sleep over since I had driving in the morning and it's so difficult to travel to Ubi from the chalet. So after my driving, met Tasha and Bu Nana for lunch before taking 29 to Changi. Missed our stop and we ended up at Changi Village where we found this shop

Couldn't resist the chocolate lava ice cream so we bought a cup and share. My God, it tasted like heaven.

Going to order a cake for Dad's belated birthday before I leave this Friday. I hope Belgium chocolate cake tastes good :/ But if it tastes anything like the lava ice cream I had, then I have absolutely nothing to worry about. YUMMZ
So we went back to the chalet and then the adults wanted finger food so we drove back to Changi Village for goreng pisangs. Had to wait for 30 mins so we sat down for some cold desserts.

God knows how much I've been craving for Sugar Cane drink. Everytime I'm working and doing my rounds around coffeeshops, I always feel like sitting down and drinking one big giant cup of sugar cane to just shut down the heat in my body (why is Singapore so damn hot?). But then again, when you're in the West, you'll never want to prolong your stay there. The West is just...bizarre. It's like Malaysia, honestly. You guys should try and explore the West someday. Just remember to bring some pepper spray. JUST IN CASE.
The chalet was a good one, although I wished I had stayed a little longer but I had work/driving. Food was good, I was never hungry during my stay there. Gained a kg there but managed to lose them due to food poisoning (HAHAHAHA). So it's all good. Life's good. Could be better, but I'm good.
And to end it off, here's a picture of my sexy Sharifah!
